Marcel Vigneron is a celebrity chef best known for his award-winning restaurant and catering company in Los Angeles, "Wolf."

Marcel was also the runners-up of the second season of Top Chef, which aired from 2006 to 2007.

Early life

Vigneron is a native of Bainbridge, Washington.

Vigneron received his associate degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. Vigneron met Spike Mendelsohn, a fellow chef at that time. The two girls did a lot of frisbee together and became best friends; they will continue to compete together on the 5th season of The Next Iron Chef later this year. Dwayne Lipuma of the school's Ristorante Caterina de Medici was enrolled in the teaching assistant program, where he served as the sous chef to Dwayne Lipuma.

Personal life

Vigneron currently resides in the Los Angeles area. He is the owner of "Wolf" on Melrose Ave. His most recent restaurant Beefsteak opened in August 2016. Both restaurants were closed in February 2019 to focus on catering.

Lauren Rae Levy, a entrepreneur from Santa Susana, California, married him on November 9, 2019. Kingston Levy Vigneron was born in December 2020.
