She has been competing in pageants since her teen years, a passion that evidently runs in her family, with her mother, Lynn Jenkins, who won Miss North Carolina in 1994. Although Juliana had been in a long-term relationship, she couldn't get married to her man without compromising on her pageant aspirations, given that the Miss USA organization didn't allow divorced contestants to marry. However, a rule change, which was announced in August 22, changed all that. This news turned our world upside down in the right way for my husband and me.'
