Career
Martone moved to New York City in 2008 and began as the strategic planner for Chandelier Creative, a production company. Martone co-founded ARC NY with Ryan Brown in 2009, a talent firm that represented talent agencies like Alessandra Ambrosio and Irina Shayk. In 2011, the two partners decided to shut the office down and pursue separate ventures. Martone founded the Martone Agency shortly after, shortly after. Caitlyn Shockley has been a member since then, and the firm, The Creative NYC, has opened a Chelsea showroom in May 2014.
In November 2010, Martone formed Nycked, his debut swimwear brand, partnering with jewelry designer Jules Kim.
Martone Cycling Co. introduced a series of bicycles in 2013, after being dissatisfied with how previous bikes looked when being stored in his New York apartment, Martone was inspired by fashion when designing his own line of bicycles. The bikes are available in monochromatic shades, with matching tires, red chains, handlebar baskets, and a SRAM Duomatic gear hub for city riding. They were first available at the Paris boutique Colette and are now available at high-end grocery stores like Saks Fifth Ave.
