Le'Raven Clark (born April 22, 1993) is an American football offensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football at Texas Tech, and was drafted by the Colts in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2016 NFL draft.
High school career
Clark attended Rockdale High School in Rockdale, Texas, where he was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. He received All-State accolades and was selected as an UnderArmour All-American in football.
Clark, who was on track & field, was one of the best performers in the throwing competitions in the state. He took bronze in both the shot put (15.94 m) and the discus (52.03 m) at the 2009 Brenham Regional Qualifier. Placed third in the shot put and qualified for state in the discus by placing 2nd at the 3A Regional level. In the discus throw, he set new personal records of 16.58 meters in the shot put and 55.47 meters.
College career
Clark, a high school freshman, was redshirted his freshman year in 2011. Clark played for the Red Raiders for the first time since being drafted right guard for the first time in his redshirt freshman season. He played in all 13 games. Clark was named a Freshman All-American by the Football Writers Association of America and Scout.com for his season. Phil Steele gave him an All-Big 12 Conference award. Clark was also selected for the Academic All-Big 12 2nd team pick.
Clark was drafted to left tackle in 2013 to replace All-Big 12 and current New England Patriots player LaAdrian Waddle during his sophomore season. Clark was selected as a pre-season All-Big 12 pick and was included on the Watchlists for the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Award ahead of the season. Clark earned Associated Press All-Big 12 1st team awards following the conclusion of the season.
Clark was once more selected to the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award watchlist prior to the 2014 season. USA Today selected him for his second time as a member of Team All-American. Following the season, he was named to the Associated Press All-Big 12 1st team.
Clark made his third 1st Team All-American pick during the 2015 season, and CBS Sports named him as a 2nd Team All-American.
Professional career
Clark was drafted in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. On May 25, 2016, he signed with the Colts. He appeared in eight games, three of which were as a rookie. He appeared in 15 games in 2017, five at right guard, with five of them starting at right guard.
Clark re-signed with the Colts on March 20, 2020. He played three games in place of injury before suffering a torn Achilles in Week 13. On December 9, 2020, he was put on injured reserve.
Clark signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on May 19, 2021. He was released on August 31, 2021, and the next day, he re-signed to the practice squad. On December 8, he was promoted to the active roster and committed to a 2022 contract extension, which will run through the 2022 season. On December 22, he was put on the COVID list and then deleted on December 29.
Clark was waived by the Eagles on August 30, 2022, and he was called to the practice squad the next day.
Clark was signed by the Tennessee Titans off the Eagles practice squad on September 27, 2022.
