Lauren Gottlieb (born June 8, 1988) is an American dancer and actress from Scottsdale, Arizona.
She appeared in the 2013 Indian dance competition So You Think You Can Dance's third season and was the lead actress in the Indian dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.
She was the runner-up in the sixth season of popular Indian television dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with choreographer and partner Punit Pathak in 2013.
She also ruled the eighth season of the show two years ago.
Dance career
During the second season of So You Think You Can Dance in 2004, Gottlieb assisted choreographer Tyce Diorio. Gottlieb appeared as a contestant on season three of So You Think You Can Dance (2005). She made it to the final six contestants but fell short in the end. Gottlieb helped Tyce Diorio, Tabitha, and Mia Michaels during seasons four, five, and six until the season was over. She appeared on the season five audition tour as the choreographer for the "choreography round" of auditions. For seasons seven (2010), eight (2011), and nine (2012), she appeared on "All-Star" dancers.
Gottlieb performed with artists such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Shakira, Sean Kingston, Carrie Underwood, Willow Smith, and Enrique Iglesias during their seasons on the show. She has also worked with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Tobey Maguire. She appeared in the television series Glee (2009) and later in the films The Fight to the Finish (2009).

Acting career
Gottlieb's first attempt at acting was on the television show Ghost Whisperer (2005). She appeared in Make It or Break It (2009), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011), following Ghost Whisperer. Gottlieb appeared in the Indian 3D dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013), directed by Remo D'Souza, with Gottlieb as the lead female role. Gottlieb migrated to India in March 2012 and spent three months learning Hindi and Bollywood dance styles before filming. The film was shot in Mumbai, where she portrayed dancer Rhea, a student of Vishnu (Prabhudheva). It featured Kay Kay Menon, and Ganesh Acharya, as well as dancers Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, and Punit Pathak from the television show Dance India Dance, among others. In the black comedy Welcome 2 Karachi (2015), Gottlieb portrayed Pakistani agent Shazia Ansari.
