Kalyn Peck (born January 12, 1989) is a professional ballet dancer who is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet.
Early life
Peck, a native of Bakersfield, California, began her ballet classes at her mother's ballet studio in Bakersfield at the age of two. Alla Khaniashvili, a former dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet, began her formal ballet lessons in Hollywood at the age of seven. Later, she began to study with Colleen and Patricia Neary of New York City Ballet in California. During this time, she enrolled in the Westside School of Ballet in Santa Monica, where she worked with the former New York City Ballet principal Yvonne Mousey and learned the Balanchine technique.
Personal life
On June 22, 2014, Tiler Peck married New York City principal ballet dancer Robert Fairchild in New York. In 2017, the couple wed. Peck was sister-in-law to Megan Fairchild, Robert's sister, for the duration of her marriage.

Ballet career
Peck, who appeared on Broadway in Susan Stroman's revival of the Meredith Wilson musical The Music Man, entered the School of American Ballet for the winter term 2000-2001. She registered as a full-time student the following year, beginning with the 2002 summer session. In September 2004, she began as an apprentice at the New York City Ballet. In February 2005, she was promoted to the corps de ballet, then went soloist in December 2006, and principal dancer in October 2009.
Peck appeared at the Kennedy Honors ceremony twice, in 2012 and 2014, front of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
