Kristian John Radlinski MBE (born 9 April 1976) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who competed mainly as a fullback.

He spent his entire professional career with Wigan Warriors, making over 300 appearances between 1993 and 2006, as well as England and Great Britain at international level.

Playing career

Since playing for Wigan St Judes and Wigan St Patricks at amateur level, Radlinski signed for his hometown team in 1993, aged 17, and continued to play his entire professional career for them. In 1995, he became the first player to score a hat-trick in a Premiership Final and also the youngest ever winner of the Harry Sunderland Trophy for man-of-the-match in Wigan's victory.

In the 1995 World Cup Final at fullback, Radlinski was selected to represent England in a tumultuous loss to Australia.

On Sunday 8 September 1996, Radlinski became the Premiership champion with Wigan, playing Fullback in Wigan's 44-14 victory over St. Helens in the Rugby League Premiership Final, playing fullback.

In Wigan's 25-16 victory over St. Helens in the 1995–96 Regal Trophy Final, the 1994-1996 season at Alfred McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield, Ryan played left-centre and scored a try.

In all three games of the Super League Test series against Australia in 1997, Radlinski was selected to represent Great Britain at centre.

In 1998, Radlinski was selected in the Super League Dream Team. In 1998 Super League Grand Final victory over Leeds Rhinos, he appeared for Wigan Warriors at fullback. In the 2000 Super League Grand Final loss to St. Helens, Radlinski was center for Wigan.

In Wigan's 2001 Super League Grand Final loss to the Bradford Bulls, Radlinski was at full throttle. In the 2002 Challenge Cup Final at Murrayfield Stadium Radlinski received the Lance Todd Trophy for man of the match. Despite being in hospital all week leading up to Wigan's 21–12 victory over St Helens with a serious foot infection, Kris did not participate in this match.

In the 2003 Super League Grand Final loss to the Bradford Bulls, Radlinski was playing for Wigan at full throttle.

He was given a year in 2005 for his faithful service to Wigan Warriors, and although the team was having a fruitful season, Kris had a tough season, with him missing only 15 games for the team due to a knee injury. His testimonial match against the Huddersfield Giants was held at JJB Stadium on January 29, 2006. Wigan took the match 38–22.

He was capped 20 times by the United Kingdom and has gained ten England caps, as well as ten England caps. In a time when he was a mainstay in the international setup, he captained his team against New Zealand 'A'. In this match, he scored three tries.

In October 2021, the 39-year-old was promoted to the top job at the DW Stadium, but he has already claimed every trophy in rugby league. In his first season as coach, Peet led Wigan to victory in the Challenge Cup before winning the League Leaders' Shield and Grand Final last year and then the World Club Challenge last month.
