Early life
Korede (English: "Bring Fortune") was born in Lagos State, where he completed his primary and secondary school education. He began performing at the age of 7 and went by the stage name African Prince.
Career
Korede Bello began writing his first song after a friend of mine formed a music club. He began performing in the studio as a kid in secondary school and then released his first single "Forever" in January. He studied Mass Communication at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and holds a Higher National Diplomatic Certificate. Korede Bello is an Associate Member of the Institute of Information Management.
He was introduced to Don Jazzy by his manager Casmir Uwaegbute, who performed some songs together, which had Don Jazzy impressed.
