Kieron Dwyer (born March 6, 1967) is an American comics artist.
He is best known for his drawings for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, as well as his creator-owned projects.
Personal life
Kieron Dwyer was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1967. In Chicago theater and television commercials, his father William M. Dwyer and mother Andrea Braun were both actors. Dwyer's mother, Susan Dwyer, met and married comics designer John Byrne (with whom Dwyer worked on the "Torch of Liberty" backups in Danger Unlimited, as well as a one-shot special), many years after his parents divorced. When Kieron was 13 years old, Byrne encouraged Dwyer's aspirations to be a cartoonist and assisted in his landing Dwyer's first professional job drawing Batman #413 (Nov. 1987). Braun and Byrne will be divorced, but Dwyer's love of art will continue to grow and flourish.
Dwyer and his wife, Birch, have one child, Liam, who follows in his father's footsteps as he draws.
