Kevin Blair Spirtas (born July 29, 1962) is an American actor.

Personal life

Spirtas was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Sandra, who is involved in community politics, and Arnold Spirtas, who owns an environmental demolition firm. Spirtas graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in 1980.

He was born Jewish and is openly gay.

Career

Spirtas is perhaps best known for his appearances on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, Jonas Chamberlain on ABC soap opera One Life to Live, and as Nick in the slasher film The New Blood (1988). Spirtas has appeared on Broadway, including Hugh Jackman's understudy in The Boy from Oz. Since being described as "Kevin Blair" in the past, he began using the name "Kevin Spirtas" more regularly in 1995.

Spirtas portrayed Dominic Delacort on the soap opera web series Winterthorne in 2015. He was nominated for an Indie Series Award for Best Guest Actor in a Drama in 2016 as well as a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for his role.
