Josh Ryan Evans Career

Early life and career

Evans, who was born in Hayward, California, began his career at the age of 12, appearing in various commercials. In 1999, he made his film debut as a child in Baby Geniuses. He appeared in How the Grinch Stole Christmas for the first time last year (Jim Cary's role). In the A&E miniseries P.T., he also appeared as General Tom Thumb. Barnum is a place of belief. Evans appeared on Ally McBeal, 7th Heaven, and The Legacy of Poltergeist.

Evans began portraying Timmy on the soap opera Passions in 1999. Evans' character was a doll that Tabitha Lenox, the evil witch of Scotland, brought to life by magic. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2000 and 2001 for his work on the series.

Timmy's character was supposed to be a hero and remain a presence on the show, but the entire storyline was quickly rewritten after Evans' death to excise the role (although one already-filmed scene later aired, showing Timmy in Heaven as a sort of coda).
