He is currently England's head coach.

He began his Woking career but went on to make a name for himself with Fulham, where he was part of the club's 2002 and 2001 promotions, making the team a Premier League team.

He made one appearance in English football, but he became the first Seychellois player to play in the Premier League.

He served time on loan with Bournemouth, Hull City, and Barnsley before joining the latter on a permanent basis in 2002.

Betsy made 94 league appearances, scoring 15 goals in a two-year period with the Tykes before moving to Hartlepool United.

His time with Pool was brief, and he then went to Oldham Athletic and then Wycombe Wanderers, and although he didn't commit to Bristol City, he did spend loan spells with Yeovil Town and Walsall.

Following a loan spell, he migrated to Southend United again before returning to Wycombe a year after signing for City.

He re-signed for Woking in 2012.

Kevin Betsy Career

Playing career

Betsy began his career at Woking, representing England on a semi-professional level and being named Conference Player of the Year in 1998. Betsy was signed by Fulham for £80,000, which could rise to £125,000, with boss Kevin Keegan naming him as one of the best young players he had ever seen at his age in September 1998. He made his Anfield debut against Liverpool in the League Cup and spent three years with Fulham. Fulham's only goal came in their winless 1998–99 Division Two match against Millwall. Betsy was their only goal. He made five league appearances during Fulham's 2000/01 season, when the club was promoted to the Premier League. In a game against Manchester United at Old Trafford, he appeared under Jean Tigana in the Premiership for Fulham under Jean Tigana. He played loan spells at AFC Bournemouth and Hull City.

Betsy joined Barnsley on a one-month loan on March 1, 2002. Betsy was released by Barnsley for £200,000 on March 28, 2002, after five appearances. He made more than 90 appearances for the club, scored 17 goals, and was the club's top goal scorer in 2002–03 with 11 goals from midfield. Betsy played for Hartlepool United for a short time in August 2004, making six appearances and scoring once. After his Barnsley deal was terminated by mutual agreement, he signed for Oldham Athletic on a deal until the end of the season. He scored five goals and was a key player in the FA Cup's win over Manchester City.

Betsy moved to Wycombe Wanderers in July 2005 after turning down Oldham's promise of a new deal. Betsy was a regular in the Wycombe team from 2005 to 2006. He was also a regular goalcorer for the club, most notably with a hat-trick against Mansfield Town in September 2005 and April 2006. Betsy was honoured by his peers by being named in the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) "Team Of The Year" for League Two (PFA) and helped Wycombe progress to the play-offs. Betsy's last game for Wycombe was a memorable one, with a 3-2 loss to Chelsea, the eventual winners of the League Cup at Stamford Bridge.

Betsy had been signed by League One Bristol City for a £200,000 fee. He was the only one in the city line up assisting the Robins in winning Promotion to Championship, scoring twice against Northampton. Betsy joined Yeovil Town on loan in October 2007. On September 7th, Yeovil returned to Bristol City as he couldn't afford to pay the loan. He had scored against Swansea City twice. In November 2007, he turned down a loan agreement with Cheltenham Town. Betsy began working at Walsall on January 31, 2008, and she stayed on loan for the remainder of the season.

On August 7, 2008, Betsy signed for Southend United on a two-year deal.

Betsy re-signed for Wycombe Wanderers on a loan until 2 January 2010. After a fruitful loan, Betsy signed for Wycombe on a long-term basis until the end of the season, having been released from Southend. Betsy was also the team's assist with eight, five goals, and being named Younger Supporter of the Year (OWWSA). Betsy and the club agreed to a new two-year contract in May 2010. Betsy was a regular on the Wycombe promotions from 2010 to 2011, but she was disappointed in 2011-12 and left the club by mutual consent on December 20, 2011.

Betsy re-joined Woking as a free agent until the 2011-2012 season. He has made a big contribution to the team and played in his fourth game back, winning two penalties in the space of five minutes. With Woking defeated Maidenhead United 1–0 away, he went on to win the Conference South title. Betsy has returned to Woking for a second season following the success of the 2011-2012 season. Betsy signed a new one-year deal in June 2014. He stayed at Woking until the 2014–15 season before deciding to forego playing football in order to concentrate on his teaching work.

International career

Betsy is of Seychellois descent, and after having refused to play for the Seychelles national team in 2005, he was eventually called into the squad and made his international debut against a visiting French league team on 3 June 2011, scoring twice. Betsy was called up to the Seychelles squad for the 2011 Indian Ocean Island Games football tournament. He appeared in all five of Seychelles' games in the tournament, winning in the final against Mauritius, who finished 1–1. Betsy scored once more in the subsequent penalty shootout, which the Seychelles defeated 4–3.

Coaching career

He was appointed head of England under the age of 15, having previously worked with youth teams at Fulham.

Betsy was appointed head coach for England's U18s on September 24, 2020, after moving on to lead the U16 and U17 squads.

Betsy was appointed head coach of Arsenal U23s on August 3, 2021. Betsy took them from a 10th-place finish under Steve Bould in 2020-21 to a 3rd place finish, although they weren't implementing a "very fluid possession-based style of play" and using various combinations, mainly variations on the 3-5-2 and 4-3-3 formations in their single season as coach.

Betsy was appointed the new manager of Crawley Town's EFL League Two (British) on June 6, 2022. However, Betsy left the club on October 9th, 2022, after a 3-0 loss to Grimsby Town, which left the club in last place in the league. In the EFL Cup, his most notable feat was a 2-0 victory over his old team Fulham.

FOOTBALL LEAGUE FOCUS: Basket-case Crawley Town in grave danger of relegation

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 30, 2023
LEWIS STEELE: As the Football League returned from its World Cup hiatus last month, Sportsmail published a column in which each division addressed the promotion and relegation fights. Unlike previous years, League Two does not have a basket-case team,' it read. It's time to rewrite that argument. Crawley Town (pictured): Welcome to the band of basket cases. Macclesfield, Southend, Oldham, Bury, and Scunthorpe fans deserve a bit more. We know the script: a lack of judgement by a charlatan owner and, in the correct direction, a team that is ineffective enough to stay in the Football League. In a revealing chat with Sportsmail, owner Preston Johnson, the maker of a cryptocurrency sports company, says, 'It's been a tough first year.' We were thrown into the deep end and have been trying to learn to swim on the fly for the first time ever.' Crawley is flopping against the tide without a life raft and is in danger of sinking.
