Paul Bernardo, 58, and Karla Homolka, 52, from Canada, kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered several teen girls, including Karla's own sister. Karla said that after the couple, nicknamed the 'Ken and Barbie Killers,' were apprehended, he was 'physically and verbally offensive', and she was given a plea bargain in exchange for her testimony against him. Karla was found guilty of two counts of murderer and received a 12-year sentence. She was released on July 5, 2005, and has since remarried and welcomed three children; Paul was sentenced to life in jail. Karla's sentence became one of the most controversial decisions Canada has ever seen after police discovered videos taken while the crimes were being committed, which showed her participating and 'enjoying' them. Now, a video of her interview with police has surfaced, showing her describing the horrific killings and confessing to her involvement in them, but only after she stopped Paul from 'hurting' her. She also told investigators that she helped Paul's victims by hovering over them with a rubber mallet as he went on errands, and that she even lured one in by asking for directions so Paul could grab her.
