Early life
Geary was born in Dublin. In 1987, he moved to the United States; he later obtained a green card for undocumented Irish immigrants; and finally became a naturalized citizen.
Personal life
Geary has seven siblings. Laura Fraser, a Scottish actress, was married in 2003. They have one daughter, Lila, and live in Glasgow, Scotland. Billy is also a Geary son.
Career
Geary appeared in Madonna's Sex Book. Sex and the City, Hysteria – The Def Leppard Story, and Hamlet (2000) were among his acting roles. He wrote and appeared in Coney Island Baby (2003). In the 2008 horror film The Burrowers, he appeared as Coffey. He owns the Scratcher Bar in downtown Manhattan and previously co-owned another bar, the original tiny Cafe Sin-é on St. Mark's Place in the East Village, where he waited on tables with Jeff Buckley.
