Kalie Shorr (born July 11, 1994) is an American country music singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Personal life
Shorr grew up in Portland, Maine. She wrote her first song at age 6, and she picked up the guitar for the first time at age 13. When she was 13, Shorr began posting YouTube covers of famous songs. She was also in a few bands, including a Nirvana Cover-band, back in Middle and High School. She was in Nashville for the first time when she was sixteen, and when she was 19, she moved to Nashville to work in country music. Shorr revealed on Twitter on March 30, 2020 that she had recently been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Career
She was the champion of Maine's Got Talent in 2010. Perez Hilton, a celebrity blogger and now friend, took notice of Shorr's covers and original songs on YouTube and invited her to appear at his birthday party in March 2012, the Backstreet Boys' opening. Shorr joined Song Suffragettes, a weekly live show that featured only female singer-songwriters in March 2014. Since being the first artist chosen by Taste of Country for their Let The Girls Play campaign, Shorr has been on the show almost every week. Taylor Swift's "Blank Space," highlighted by Popdust, is still popular. The Nashville Sessions, She released an EP full of demos she had collected over her stay in Nashville in February 2015.
