Early life
On July 21, 1989, Juno Temple, the daughter of film producer Amanda Pirie and film director Julien Temple, was born in the Hammersmith neighborhood of London. Leo and Felix are her two younger brothers. Nina Temple, her aunt, was the last General Secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain. She grew up in Taunton, Somerset, where she attended Enmore Primary School, Bedales School, and King's College.
Personal life
Temple was in a relationship with American actor Michael Angarano from 2013 to 2016, with whom she lived in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighborhood. She grew up in Soho, London.
Film career
Temple began her career as a child actress in the 1997 film Vivo: Passion for Life, a film about Jean Vigo. Emma Southey's father escorted her in the role of Emma Southey in the 2000 film Pandaemonium.
She received coveted accolades for several supporting roles early in her career. One reviewer said she was "impressive" for her role in Notes on a Scandal (2006) with "emotion and trepidation," as Lola Quincey's performance in Atonement (2007) was described as "impressive." She trained to play Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), but the role was ultimately transferred to Evanna Lynch. In the film version of Sheila Kohler's book Cracks, Temple played Eema in the comedy Year One with Jack Black and Michael Cera, Anna in Jaco Van Dormael's Mr. Nobody and Di Radfield. Celia in St Trinian's Gold (2007), Jennifer "Drippy" Logan in Wild Child (2008), and Jane Parker in The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) are among her other film credits.
In 2010, she appeared in "Cycop," an indie film of his creation starring the protagonist from "The Mother of Invention (2009) in a poorly made film of his creation. She appeared in the film Kaboom (2010), which received the first Queer Palm award. Temple appeared in Paul W. James allowed her the option of playing either of the two female leads, but she chose Lily because she related with the story more and "wanted to set her free." In interviews, Temple and James worked together on Little Birds for two years before joining as "best friends" and "family" together.
