Both of the criminals, who were dressed in white, rifled through their possessions for about 14 minutes. After the hapless thieves took a load of precious and sentimental family jewelry worth between $20,000 and $305,000, the family was left devastated. And though the Orange County Sheriff's Deputies responded quickly, the guys were able to get away with the loot. Not all of the jewelry can be replaced, according to Tamara.

The only known survivor of the Stockton serial killer has recalled how the killer squeaked down on her before opening fire. Natasha LaTour, 46, was shot many times by Wesley Brownlee at a train station on April 16 last year. Brownlee, 43, has been arrested on suspicion of at least six murders in California over the past 18 months. After being arrested by cops who were following him as he was 'on a mission to murder,' the Stockton Police Department is expected to charge him with a string of slayings.'

Police in California have found a fugitive serial killer responsible for a string of murders that have haunted the Stockton and Oakland areas. Authorities say they apprehended the perpetrator, Wesley Brownlee, 43, just as he was going to commit another murder. Brownlee is accused of being terrorizing the neighborhood for more than a year.
