It's not just Meghan! Duchess Googles up-and-coming designers to boost their profile - but royals including Kate Middleton, Zara Tindall, and Prince William have helped British brands soar too

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 6, 2024
When the Duchess of Sussex claimed that she spends her time Googling small and up-and-coming designers to put them in the global spotlight and boost sales, she raised eyebrows amongst royal watchers. While she undoubtedly can be credited with putting the British brand Strathberry on the map, she often chose to wear high-end - and expensive - designer labels such as Givenchy, Dior and Oscar de la Renta on official engagements. And, certainly, she is not the only member of the Royal Family to propel British brands to success: many labels attribute their sales boosts to the royal seal of approval.

Is Victoria Starmer looking to Kate for style inspiration? PM's wife has echoed Princess of Wales's outfit choices (and she doesn't pay for them either!)

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 21, 2024
As the wife of the UK's Prime Minister continues to win praise from the fashion pack, it appears Lady Starmer has been looking to the Princess of Wales for style inspiration. Whether it's the polka dot outfit (right) she wore to a London Fashion Week show on Monday, September 16, or the beautiful, beaded gown (centre) she chose for a state banquet for the Emperor and Empress of Japan, Lady Starmer appears to have taken a few leaves out of the Kate Middleton's fashion playbook.
