Jedediah Louisa Bila (born January 29, 1979) is an American television host, author, and columnist.

She is best known for her appearances on The View and as an anchor on Fox and Friends' weekend editions. She has written columns for publications such as FoxNews.com, Verily, Human Events, The Daily Caller, and Townhall.

Personal life

Bila married Jeremy Scher in February 2018. They have a son and one child together. Bila revealed in April 2020 that she and her husband had contracted COVID-19 and that they were recovering.

Bila describes herself as "having libertarian political leanings."

Life and career

Bila was born and raised in Brooklyn. She is of Italian descent. She is a graduate of Wagner College and holds a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University. She began teaching in New York in 2005. She taught creative writing, Spanish, and improvisation to middle school, high school, and college students. She has also worked at a private school in New York City as an academic dean.

Bila's change from education to politics began in 2009, when she reviewed radio host Mark Levin's book Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto on her blog. Levin later read the article on air, prompting television host Sean Hannity to welcome her on his Fox News show, Hannity. In 2013, she joined Fox News as a reporter. She debuted on Outnumbered, a daytime talk show, in April 2014. She appeared on the talk show The Five and a half regularly.

Bila left Fox News in August 2016 to join ABC Daytime's The View as a permanent co-host in its 20th season. She appeared on the show as the conservative voice to contrast the liberal co-hosts. For the documentary Abby Tells All on Lifetime, she interviewed television presenter Abby Lee Miller. Bila departed The View on September 18, the same year as the previous year.

In November 2018, she rejoined Fox News as a reporter. She was named a permanent co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend in April 2019. In May 2021, Bila parted ways with Fox News.

Bila Bila LIVE, a year after being fired from Fox, launched Jedediah Bila LIVE, her own podcast on Valuetainment on June 8, 2022.

In 2011, Bila published Outnumbered: Chronicles of a Manhattan Conservative. It is an autobiographical recount of her time as a Republican living and teaching in Manhattan during the 2008 United States presidential election. HarperCollins published #DONOTDISTURB: How I Ghosted My Cell Phone to Take Back My Life in 2018.
