He was subsequently required to play for the club's reserve team, scoring once in 19 Segunda Liga games in the first five months of 2013.

The Ivory Coast, two-time champions, has only scored three points in as many games and will qualify from the group stages. Equatorial Guinea grit and Jannick Buyla's late strikes left Equatorial Guinea grinning and the Ivory Coast with egg on their faces, with Emilio Nsue and late strikes from Pablo Ganet and Jannick Buyla.

Chelsea 'are set to accept Hull City's permanent bid for on-loan midfielder Xavier Simons'

According to Xavier Simons, Chelsea is expected to sign a permanent deal from Hull City for on-loan midfielder Xavier Simons. The 20-year-old starlet, who left the Premier League team on loan in September in the search of regular first team football, has only appeared in five senior appearances for the Tigers so far, including four Championship matches and one FA Cup match. However, the Hull City chiefs have seen enough to want Simons to stay as part of their squad long-term, and have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea to keep him away from Stamford Bridge permanently.

Lesson learned! Fulham's targeted approach to recruiting in the Premier League is paying dividends

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 29, 2022
Nottingham Forest fans have been discouraged from returning. If Fulham's 2018-19 campaign has taught us anything, it's because summer spending sprees don't necessarily guarantee Premier League vivability. The Cottagers' transitory status in the top flight has seen them move from yo-yo to and from the Premier League in each of the last five seasons, but the club chiefs appear to have finally found a winning formula. Fulham owner Shahid Khan watched his team suffer instant relegation after investing over £100 million in the summer of 2018.
