James Leland Walters Jr. (born June 13, 1969) is an American actor and singer best known for his appearances on Beverly Hills, 90210, and The Heights, as well as his number one hit "How to Talk to an Angel."

Career
Walters was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in Marblehead, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, he attended New York University and studied film for two years, as well as studying at The Actors Space in New York City.
He was discovered at a bank by a casting agent who placed him in three high-profile advertisements for Levi's 501 Jeans while attending college. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting and musical career. He appeared on Everyday Heroes in a little bit. His film debut came in 1991 with the film Shout starring John Travolta, Heather Graham, and Gwyneth Paltrow. On the Shout soundtrack album, Walters performed "Rockin' the Pad."
Aaron Spelling led Walter Walters on the Fox show The Heights in 1992, in which he also performed "How Do You Talk to an Angel."
