Career

Gelder appeared in the television film of Rumpole of the Bailey as the son of Rumpole's university lecturer son. He has appeared on stage and film. The Low Road (2013) was his first stage appearance. Marcus Andronicus, Titus' brother, appeared in Lucy Bailey's revival of Titus Andronicus's original 2006 production at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre from May to July 2014.

Mr Dekker and Kevan Lannister respectively appeared on television shows such as Torchwood: Children of Earth in 2009 and Game of Thrones, 2011. Gelder reprised his role in HBO's Game of Thrones in Season 5 and Season 6 as Kevan Lannister after a three-year absence. In 12 episodes of Game of Thrones, a Gelder guest appeared. In 2019, he appeared as Librarian Scholar Charles in the BBC TV series His Dark Materials, based on Philip Pullman's critically acclaimed book trilogy. In the seventh episode of Doctor Who's twelfth season, "Can You Hear Me?" Zellin appeared in the fifth episode. "I was delighted to hear that the French people were able to communicate."

PATRICK MARMION: How do you feel about horror stories? Even with a crucifix and a bottle of holy water, some people will not go near them. However, there is a fairy tale inside many a horror tale about trying to get out. After she stepped in next door, it was certainly the case with John Ajvide Lindqvist's book about Oskar, a bullied adolescent in suburban Stockholm who befriends teenage vampire Eli Eli Eli. (The book was adapted by Lindqvist himself for the Swedish film of the same name). And Bryony Shanahan's mesmerizing revival of Jack Thorne's 2013 film entangles the reader's jugular afresh. . . The result was pleasantly creepy.
