Harris Dickinson (born 24 June 1996) is an English actor, writer, and director.
He is best known for his role in Frankie in the 2017 film Beach Rats, for which he was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Young British/Irish Performer of the Year, and for the Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Actor.
In the first season of the Danny Boyle-helmed FX drama series Trust, Dickinson portrayed kidnapped heir John Paul Getty III.

Early life
Dickinson was born in Leytonstone, East London, on June 24, 1996, and grew up in Highams Park. He dropped out of school, where he was hoping to study film and theatre at the age of seventeen. Dickinson almost committed to a career in the Royal Marines before being encouraged by his mentor at RAW Academy in London to return to the theatre.
Acting career
In Eliza Hittman's film Beach Rats, Dickinson was depicted as Frankie, a young man struggling with his sexuality. Dickinson was described as having "perfected a south Brooklyn accent" as Frankie, according to Times columnist Ed Potton. Dickinson was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead and the Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Actor for his role.
