Hana Kimura (Kimura Hana, born September 3, 1997) is a Japanese female professional wrestler, who wrestles for Stardom.

Her mother is former wrestler, Kyoko Kimura.

Personal life

Kimura was a daughter of Kyoko Kimura, who is also a professional wrestler. Before she was one year old, she was separated from her father. While the identity of Hana Kimura's biological father is not publicly known, Kyoko Kimura has mentioned in interviews that he is an Indonesian national and because of this, Hana Kimura was referred to as Indonesian-Japanese. She was bullied as a child because of her mixed ethnic heritage.

Professional wrestling career

Kimura won the DDT Ironman Heavyweight Championship one time in Tokyo in 2005, but she lost the trophy to her mother Kyoko before her professional wrestling career.

Kimura was educated at Wrestle-1's Professional Wrestling University in the 2010s.

She debuted for promotion on March 30, 2016, against her classmate, Reika Saiki, in a losing effort after graduating from the Wrestle-1 training academy. Throughout 2016, the two wrestled against each other several times in Wrestle-1.

Kimura took on her mother in a match on August 7, 2016. Kimura won the JWP Junior Championship by beating Yako Fujigasaki in a tournament final on September 18, 2016. On December 28, 2016, she lost the JWP Junior Championship to Yako Fujigasaki. Her mother died on January 22, 2017. Kimura defeated her mother in a singles competition and on the same display, the two teamed in a thrilling triples match in Kyoko's retirement show.

Kimura split her time between Wrestle-1, Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling, and Stardom in 2017, when she was a contracted performer for Wrestle-1. Kimura became a Wrestle-1 roster member on January 9, 2018. In early 2018, she appeared on Ring of Honor, Pro-Wrestling: EVE, and various Mexican promotions.

Kimura declared she was leaving Wrestle-1 on March 21, 2019.

Kimura appeared in World Wonder Ring Stardom in September 2016. Kimura competed for the Artist of Stardom Championship on October 2, 2016, alongside her mother and Kagetsu. When Kimura was hospitalized, the team vacated the titles on January 3, 2017. Kimura later became a member of Stardom's heel stable, Oedo Tai. Kimura defeated Team Jungle, who was born in Stardom's Galaxy Stars 2017 event on June 21, 2017, defeating Team Jungle (Hiroyo Matsumoto and Jungle Kyona). Kimura and Kagetsu have been fighting against teams including Jungle Kyona and HZK, Io Shirai and Viper, Jungle Kyona and Viper, Jungle Kyona and Viper, Mahu Mizu, Mayu Iwatani and Tam Nakano, as well as Jungle Kyona and HZK, Io Shirai and Viper, Jungle Kyona and Viper, Hirai and Viper, Jungle Kyona In 2018, Mayu Iwatani and Saki Kashima defeated the team. Kimura left Oedo Tai on September 24, after she assaulted Kagetsu.

On March 25, 2019, she officially joined Stardom. Kimura, along with Stella Grey and Sumie Sakai, defeated Jenny Rose and Oedo Tai (Kagetsu and Hazuki) in a low match at Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling's G1 Supercard on April 6, a bitter clash at Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling's G1 Supercard. Hana was elected leader of the International Army faction on April 14, which was part of the 2019 Stardom draft. On April 21, the team was renamed "Tokyo Cyber Squad." Kimura, together with her colleagues Jungle Kyona and Konami, won the Artist of Stardom Championship on May 16 after defeating Mayu Iwatani, Saki Kashima, and Konami.

Kimura and Giulia competed Mayu Iwatani and Arisa Hoshiki in a dark match at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Wrestling's Kingdom 14 on January 4, 2020. It was the first women's match at the Tokyo Dome since 2002. Kimura qualified in the first round of the Stardom's Cinderella Tournament 2020 on March 24, defeating Mayu Iwatani in the first round to a draw.

She has won the Artist of Stardom twice and the Goddess of Stardom championship twice, as well as winning the 2019 5Star GP tournament and the Stardom Fighting Spirit award twice in her Stardom career.
