How Biden's 'inspirational notebooks' cast him "as a hero' who fought generals over Obama's 30,000 troops withdrawal in Afghanistan and reveal that the VP opposed protesting but left out critical information about it

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 9, 2024
President Biden took notes and saved important memos that recalled his fight against sending tens of thousands of Americans into Afghanistan. Special Counsel Robert Hur gave a lengthy account of his appointment, including his "motive" for hanging onto records that should not have been posted at the National Archives. Biden writes daily in notebooks and on notecards about his pressure campaign leading up to the 2009 vote. For the first time, the paper includes a portion of their content.

According to the report, the United States' mistakes led to the rapid demise of Afghanistan's government

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 28, 2023
According to a damning new watchdog report, poor planning by the US military before the 'abrupt' Afghanistan withdrawal resulted in the government's demise in August 2021. The Special Inspector General's report on Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) found that the American decision to pull out "distroyed the Afghan National Security Force's morale (ANDSF), and that the 300,000 local troops were doom without US assistance. It also includes information about the more than $7 billion in weapons and equipment left for the Taliban to use, as well as widespread mismanagement that dominated the Afghan army and government. The withdrawal was'abrupt and uncoordinated,' giving war-ravaged locals the feeling that the US was'simply handing Afghanistan over to a Taliban government-in-waiting.' Despite 20 years and $90 billion in government funding, the study also criticized the inability to create 'an autonomous and self-sustainable' Afghan security force, and blamed both President Biden and President Trump for the bedlam.

Did Republican Senate candidate order 'unnecessary' airstrike that killed three Americans in 2001?

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 18, 2022
Don Bolduc's Senate campaign has mirrored the way he led 'horse soldiers' in Afghanistan's immediate aftermath, for which he earned a Purple Heart after a 2000lb bomb struck his position in a 'friendly fire' accident. Some survivors of the bombing suspect Bolduc's for an attack that killed three special forces troops and at least 25 Afghan allies, according to his campaign. According to the Taliban, they were able to withdraw, and Bolduc's decision to request an airstrike may have postponed the conclusion of combat in December 2001.
