Fulvio Cecere (born March 11, 1960) is a Canadian actor and filmmaker.

Early life

He migrated to Hawthorne, New Jersey, as an infant and attended Hawthorne High School, graduating in 1978 as part of the class of 1978. Cecere attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, but after one year, he discovered that acting, not legislation, was his true calling. He took acting lessons at UCLA and starred in a number of television and film roles over the next few years.

Career

Fred Durkin, a freelance investigator, appeared in A&E Network's original film The Golden Spiders: A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2000) and A Nero Wolfe Mysteries (2001–2002). He also appeared as Det. Leon Vaughn in the 2001 slasher film Valentine, written by Leon Vaughn. He also appeared in Battlestar Galactica, Agent Sandoval in Dark Angel (2000–2002), and Intelligence's Tarzan, Tilt, Blade, and Intelligence. His film appearances include roles in Paycheck, Assault on Precinct 13, Cinderella Man, The Tortured, and Watchmen.

The documentary film 350 Days in Cecere includes interviews with 70 current and former professional wrestlers. The film, which refers to the number of days many wrestlers spend each year, took five years to complete, and it came from an obsession with wrestling that arose out of Cecere's work on Cinderella Man.
