Joel McKinnon Miller (born February 21, 1960) is an American actor best known for his role on Big Love and Detective Norm Scully on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Life and career
On February 21, 1960, Joel McKinnon Miller was born in Rockford, Minnesota. He took opera lessons as an infant and later attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he studied theatre and opera. He left out in 1983 to attend The Acting Company, but in 2007 he returned to his alma mater to complete his degree in theatre with an acting emphasis.
McKinnon Miller's most notable television appearance was in three episodes of Las Vegas, prior to Big Love.
