Inter Milan secured a 1-0 victory at AS Roma on Sunday, courtesy of a second-half goal from Lautaro Martinez in a tightly contested Serie A match. Martinez made the breakthrough on the hour mark, controlling the ball on the edge of the area before firing it into the net. Inter are now second in the table with 17 points, two behind leaders Napoli, while Roma are 10th with 10 points.
Erling Haaland appears to give x-rated response to Francesco Acerbi after Inter star asked for TWO of City striker's shirts following Champions League draw

Haaland was kept quiet on a night in which he missed out on his 100th goal for the club but he was all smiles during an animated chat with Acerbi after the final whistle. Defender Acerbi, part of the stubborn Inter backline that frustrated City at the Etihad, was caught on camera seemingly asking Haaland for two of his shirts. It is customary for players to trade their jerseys after matches in a show of respect but Haaland looked to jokingly wave away the request by telling Acerbi to 'f**k off'. In footage shared on social media by TNT Sports, a smiling Acerbi could be seen holding up two fingers to the striker as part of his cheeky question.
A goal shy striker, no stand-out superstar, and only NINE survivors from the class of 2021... why nobody is backing defending champions Italy to retain their Euros crown

RIATH AL-SAMARRAI IN DORTMUND: From the nation that brought us catenaccio, there has been a whiff of defensiveness about the Italians this week as they ponder their peculiar status at Euro 2024. When they launch their campaign against Albania in Dortmund on Saturday night, it will be from the somewhat jarring position of being defending champions of whom far less is expected than normal. If they are to find familiar comforts in this tournament, it will be as dark horses. That has certainly been the consensus view aimed at a young group featuring only nine survivors from the triumphant class of 2021 and which bears little resemblance to the squad that beat England in the final at Wembley.
