Field Adrianus Cate (born July 22, 1997) is an American actor and singer.
He is best known to date for his series-regular role on the fantasy comedy-drama Pushing Daisies.

Career
At the age of five, Cate converted proffession, independent films, advertisements, and other projects. In addition, he appears in "Song to Say Goodbye" in Placebo's music video.
He appeared on several television shows, including Without a Trace and Cold Case. His most notable work on ABC's Pushing Daisies was as Young Ned, becoming a regular cast member in season 2 and winning a Young Artist Award nomination in 2008.
Cate, who was raised as a vegetarian, spoke out on behalf of animal rights group PETA. He has worked with organizations such as Mattel Children's Hospital and served as a StarPower Ambassador for Starlight Children's Foundation.
