Dean was born in Sydney on September 27, 1997. He and his family live in Erskineville, South Africa.
Dean had been jailed for allegedly attacking a shop employee, according to Joe Anderton of Digital Spy. He was charged with a variety of offences, including affray, shoplifting, and breaching bail; the terms of which included a curfew and alcohol testing. Dean had been arrested in September and charged with intent to rob and common assault. He was also charged with land theft in connection with a reported encounter with a taxi driver in January 2021. Dean was refused bail and was set to appear in court on October 19th 2021.
Career
Dean appeared in the television miniseries Jessica in 2004. Todd McFarlane appeared in All Saints two years later as Todd McFarlane. Dean made many appearances in Comedy Inc. in 2007, as VJ Patterson on Home and Away. Dean was nominated for Best Young Actor at the 2008 and 2009 Inside Soap Awards for his portrayal of VJ. He left the series in 2014 and the role was recast. Dean has also appeared in several television commercials. Dean appeared in Bondi Dreaming, Sam Atwell's play, in November 2011. The performance ran at the Bondi Pavilion from December 3rd 2011.
