Erinn was born in San Fernando, California. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in performance in 1998.

Hayes married Jack Hayes, a building supervisor, in 2004. Maggie Mae and Lilah Grace Grace are their two daughters.
Career
On FOX's short-lived Kitchen Confidential, Hayes appeared as a chef in 2005. In addition, she appeared in the television film Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindy as Pam Dawber, as well as costar Chris Diamantopoulos. In 2007, Hayes appeared on Alison on The Winner.
