Career
Dudu began his playing for Cruzeiro's youth and gained his first cap in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A against Palmeiras on June 14, 2009. Coritiba loaned the 18-year-old attacking midfielder from Cruzeiro until December 2010.
For the 2011 season, Dudu returned to Cruzeiro. "Dudu played really well in the match on June 25th in the match against Coritiba Dudu," the coach Joel Santana said, "Dudu entered really well in the game." He is such a brave boy, intelligent, and he follows the instructions. Despite being a young child, he is audacious. It turns out that height isn't particularly important for football. Dudu will join Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv on a €5 million contract on August 27, 2011, according to his team Cruzeiro's official website.
