Richard Gadd is set to add to his collection of trophies after his hit drama Baby Reindeer snatched up two nominations at this year's Scots Baftas. The Fife comedian, whose Netflix series is said to be based on his own ordeal at the hands of a stalker, is shortlisted in the best writer and best television actor categories. His dual nomination follows the show's huge success at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where it picked up six gongs from 11 nominations. Baby Reindeer has remained in the headlines because of the ongoing legal action by a woman, who claims the story is based on her, who is suing Netflix for defamation. Just days ago, a judge ruled she can pursue the case because the drama was wrongly billed as 'true story'.

Chloe Burrows and Danielle Harold led the five new celebrity faces revealed to be battling it out in the Celebrity MasterChef arena for a place in the quarter-finals. The BBC cooking show kicked off on Tuesday with its first three episodes starring Charlotte Crosby, Craig Doyle, Edith Bowman, Ian 'H' Watkins, and Snoochie Shy -and one has already been sent packing.  Now, the BBC has revealed that competing in the second Heat week will be reality star Chloe, 28, and EastEnders star Danielle, 32. The women will be joined by comedian and actor Eshaan Akbar, BBC Gladiator and Team GB Sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, and Line Of Duty star Rochenda Sandall. Released over six weeks, Celebrity MasterChef 20 famous faces are throwing themselves into the biggest culinary challenge of their lives.

The high-pressured cooking competition usually sees 32 professional chefs enter the MasterChef kitchen in a bid to become the 2023 Champion.
