Osher Gunsberg Life

Osher Günsberg (born Andrew Günsberg), also known by his stage name Andrew Günsberg, is an Australian television and radio presenter who is best known as the host of the reality television show The Bachelor Australia, The Bachelorette Australia, and Bachelor in Paradise Australia.

In addition, he is the narrator of Bondi Rescue and the host of the music talent show The Masked Singer Australia He is also known for his hosting of Channel [V] Australian Idol, Live to Dance on CBS, and radio shows including Take 40 Australia and The Hot Hits.

The factual television program Recruits was also narrated by Günsberg.

He was a regular contributor to The Project.

Early life

Andrew Jonas Günsberg was born in London, England, to a Czech-Jewish father and a Lithuanian mother. When he was four months old, Günsberg moved to Australia. He grew up in Brisbane, Australia, where he had an obsession with music, learned to read and write sheet music, as well as playing several instruments. He spent time as a roadie before appearing in several Brisbane-based bands.

Personal life

Günsberg has dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Noa Tishby, an Israeli actress and producer, married him in 2008. On December 27, 2011, he revealed on Twitter that his Tishby's marriage was over.

In September 2010, Günsberg unveiled a year of daily photographic self portraits (June 2009 – June 2010, a portion of the proceeds went to Lifeline).

In order to express his new outlook and attitude toward life, he changed his name to 'Osher' – Hebrew for 'happiness.' Something about being Osher just feels right," he says. He is an avid cyclist. Following criticism for attending Derby Day during the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival, Günsberg declared "I'm vegan because it's the fastest way to get the message across, but the truth is that I've never really called myself vegan."

In December 2016, Günsberg married freelance makeup artist Audrey Griffen, becoming a stepfather to her daughter Georgia. The pair first met while Osher was filming season two of The Bachelor Australia, where Griffen was working as a makeup artist. Wolfgang 'Wolfie' Günsberg, their son, was born in August 2019.

He suffered from depression for many years, as well as social anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder in August 2017.

HarperCollins' Back to the Break was released in August 2018. He has been vocal about his struggles with psychosis, alcoholism, and suicidal speculation.
