Edward Devlin Connachan (born 27 August 1935) is a Scottish goalkeeper who competed for Dunfermline Athletic, Middlesbrough, Falkirk, East London Celtic, and Scotland's national team. Connachan joined Dunfermline from Dalkeith Thistle in May 1957 and went on to play 172 games for Dunfermline. * He aided the club win the Scottish Cup for the first time in 1961 when he made save after save from the Celtic forwards and played for Scotland against Czechoslovakia in 1962 and 1962. * He was also selected in the Scottish League representative team in August 1963, after returning to Scotland with Falkirk in November 1966. * His last port of call was South Africa, where he played for East London Celtic before retiring. * He lives in Connachan, South Africa, in March 2007.
