Acting career

Call's first acting role was an uncredited role in the 2005 film The Notorious Bettie Page, followed by roles in the 2006 films The Architect and Beautiful Ohio. He appeared in Evening, a romantic drama film from 2007. Ricky Moss appeared in the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Ricky Moss, and he appeared on Army Wives as Ricky Moss in the episode Neighborhood Watch. In 2009, he appeared in five episodes of Rescue Me as the adult Connor Gavin. He also appeared in NBC's medical drama Mercy. Did You Hear About the Morgans? in 2009, he appeared as a supporting actor. Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant appear in the film. Tiny Furniture and Two Gates of Sleep were two of his early films in 2010.

Call, a young adult drama series on The CW, as Ben Donovan, who is linked to two other then-new characters, Juliet Sharp (Katie Cassidy) and Colin Forrester (Samuel Page), appeared in July 2010.

On the Fox science-fiction film Fringe, Call portrayed Nick Lane's recurring role. The character appeared in the first season episode "Bad Dreams," which was critically praised.
