Yul Edochie (born Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie 7 January 1982) is a Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner.
He is from Anambra state Nigeria, the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie.

Edochie is married to May Aligwe and has three sons and a daughter. Their names are Kambi Edochie, Dani Edochie, Karl Edochie and Victory Zane Chukwubuike Yul Edochie. On April 27, 2022, the actor revealed that he had taken fellow actor, Judy Austin, as his second wife, as well as their newborn son. Career
Edochie debuted in film The Exquires, opposite Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa in 2005. He got his break in 2007 after appearing in the film Wind Of Glory with Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot.

On July 14, 2017, Edochie declared his candidacy for Governor of Anambra State. This declaration was made in anticipation of the senate of Nigeria's federal government of not being able to pass a bill. The declaration was however made official on August 22, 2017 when he picked up the Democratic People's Congress political party's nomination form and became the party's flag bearer and gubernatorial candidate for governor of Anambra State. Yul Edochie has confirmed that he intends to run for President of Nigeria in the 2023 presidential election.
