Dana Hill (born Dana Lynne Goetz, 1964-1996), an American actress and voice artist, was born Dana Hill (born Dana Lynne Goetz) on May 6, 1964 – July 15, 1996).

Hill was best known for her appearances in Shoot the Moon and Cross Creek, and she was also known for her role as Audrey Griswold in National Lampoon's European Vacation.

In a 1984 CBS Schoolbreak Special Needs Special Needs Child, Hill appeared as a special needs child.

Early life and health issues

Dana Lynn Goetz was born in Los Angeles, California, on May 6, 1964, to Theodore Arthur "Ted" Goetz, a director of commercials, and Sandy Hill. A diagnosis of Type I diabetes early in life ended her athletic career; a 1982 study in People magazine announced that Hill, a 10-year-old girl, placed third nationally in the 880-yard run and fourth in the mile run. She collapsed a few weeks later, resulting in her medical diagnosis. The diabetes impacted her growth and triggered lifelong health issues.
