* Coraima Alejandra Torres D'az was born in Valencia, Venezuela, on June 6, 1973. * In the late 1980s, she began acting in Venezuela. * Her first appearances were in the telenovelas "Gardenia" and "Alondra." * She was first recognized actress in 1992 in the acclaimed telenovela "Kassandra," which was seen in more than 100 countries. * Following "Kassandra" she moved to Colombia, where she played a key role in the telenovela "Sue y espejos" (Dreams and mirrors). * Nicolas Montero, a Colombian actress, was her companion in this telenovela. They fell in love and married in 1996. Coraima has appeared in "Geminis" a mini-series and "Cambio de Piel," another Venezuelan telenovela (Change of skin). * After this soap, she appeared in Peru and Argentina, "Amor Latino" (Latin Love) and "Soledad" in three telenovelas "Mara Emilia." * "Amor del bueno" and "Lorena" are her new telenovelas. * She lives in Bogota, Colombia's capital. * Coraima was serving in El ltimo Matrimonio Feliz, a Colombian woman who is facing adulthood after divorced her husband.
