Early life
Natasha Klauss was born in Cali, Colombia, and raised in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia, to a Uruguayan father of Lithuanian–Russian descent and a Uruguayan mother. Tatiana is her older sister. After taking lessons, Klauss aspired to be a ballerina dancer, and aspired to perform in the Bolshoi Theatre. She suffered her knee in a car accident one year before her graduation, but she had to stop doing dance for the rest of her career. Natasha then decided to study acting rather than dancing.

Klauss married television engineer Váctor Gómez in 2000. Isabel Gómez Rastapkevicius, the couple's first child, was born in April 2000. In 2001, the couple divorced. Klauss began her acting career in television series and plays, predominantly portraying small roles. Sandra Guzmán, a lesbian actress in the Telemundo telenovela La Venganza, co-starring Gabriela pani and Catherine Siachoque, received prestigious prizes including Premios Mara de Venezuela and the Best Supporting Actress Award in 2002; she won prestigious accolades such as the Premios Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role. Klauss appeared in hit telenovela Pasión de Gavilanes, alongside Michel Brown, Danna Garca, Paola Rey, Mario Cimarro, and Juan Alfonso Baptista, which earned her many accolades, including the ACE Award for Best Supporting Actress.
