Christopher David Gorham (born August 14, 1974) is an American actor best known for ABC's Ugly Betty.

He has appeared in films including Insatiable, Popular, Odyssey 5, Felicity, Jake 2.0, Medical Research, Out of Practice, Harper's Island, Covert Affairs, and Once Upon a Time.

Early life

Gorham was born in Fresno, California, to David Gorham, a registered public accountant, and Cathryn Gorham, a school nurse. He studied at the Roosevelt School of the Arts and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. In 1996, there was a stage in the United States. He competed in many sports, including martial arts, stage combat, fencing, rollerblading, and ballroom dancing while in college.

Personal life

Gorham is married to his long-time co-star, Anel Lopez Gorham, with whom he has three children. Lucas, his son, was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. Gorham has become an autism education advocate: he has written a blog about autism in the United States.

Career

On Baywatch (1989), his first job in the acting business was as an intern. Gorham has appeared in a number of science-fiction television series, ranging from a lead role in Odyssey 5 to the title character in Jake 2.0. He has appeared on Pledge of Five, Felicity, and Without a Trace. He has appeared in films, including 2001's The Other Side of Heaven co-starring Anne Hathaway.

In the WB's film Popular and Dr., Gorham played Harrison John. Miles McCabe appears in the NBC drama Medical Investigation. He appeared in the short-lived CBS series Out of Practice as the lead actor. He was also the creator of ABC Family's original film Relative Chaos.

Gorham played Henry Grubstick in Silvio Horta's latest film, Ugly Betty, and portrayed the main love interest for the series's protagonist Betty Suarez (played by America Ferrera). Gorham was nominated for the Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series by the Screen Actors Guild. For the second season of the series, he appeared complete. He then left in July 2008 but returned for the season three and then the season four finale. He appeared in Harper's Island, a 2009 CBS television miniseries in which characters were killed off every week leading to the eventual reveal of the killer.

Gorham played blind special operations agent Auggie Anderson on Covert Affairs from July 13, 2010 to December 18, 2014, starring the main character, a trainee CIA agent played by Piper Perabo at her new position. The series, which lasted five seasons on the USA Network, was hugely popular. In January 2015, the show was cancelled. Gorham came in fifth on the list of "TV's Sexiest Men of 2011," according to BuddyTV.

In 2014, Gorham recurred in the back half of Once Upon a Time as Walsh, the Wizard of Oz. On the Netflix series Insatiable, which premiered on August 10, 2018, he was rival pageant coach Bob Barnard.

Gorham had been cast as Trevor Elliot, the suspected client of Mickey Haller in the forthcoming Netflix ordered series The Lincoln Lawyer with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, on March 25, 2021.

Gorham is also the voice of Barry Allen / The Flash in the DC Animated Movie Universe, beginning with Justice League: War (2014) and ending with Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020).
