Christopher Scott Thile (born February 20, 1981) is an American mandolinist, singer, composer, and radio presenter best known for his roles in Nickel Creek, the acoustic folk, and the progressive bluegrass quintet Punch Brothers.
He is a 2012 MacArthur Fellow.
He took over the hostship of A Prairie Home Companion, which was renamed Live from Here in December 2017.
