Personal life
Jones married American-born painter Paul Hannon in 1996, with whom she also shares their daughter Eleanor. In 2000, the couple divorced. Jones had a long association with musician and singer Tom Wilson for many years after 2004. They have since been separated. Mara Jones' first daughter, Mara, was born in 1981 in Newfoundland.
