Camille Lou was born in Bersillies, near Maubeuge, on May 22nd. Camille's father was a member and guitarist for the group Paradoxe, so she and her two older sisters were exposed to music at a young age, each learning to play an instrument. Les Voix de Nol, a local singing competition, lues in Hautmont, won her at the age of twelve. She attended Notre Dame de Grâce à Maubeuge, a lycée. She studied at the University of Valenciennes after obtaining her baccalaureate.
Solo career
Camille began her solo career under the pseudonym Jimmie in January 2010, with the assistance of her guitar tutor at the time.
