Warren Anderson Mathis (born March 6, 1977), also known as Bubba Sparxxx, is an American rapper from Georgia.

"Deliverance," "Ugly," and "Ms.

New Booty, the former of which reached No. 3 in the world, is the best booty ever to have dominated the top charts. The US Billboard Hot 100 is at number 7 on the list.

Early life

Mathis grew up in a rural area near LaGrange, Georgia. He is of French descent. His father was a school bus pilot and his mother was a grocery store cashier. Via mixtapes sent from New York City to his nearest neighbor, who lived half a mile away, introduced him to rap music. His introduction to hip hop was 2 Live Crew; he began listening to West Coast gangsta rap, such as N.W.A. and Too Short and the Atlanta duo Outkast. He was a tight end and linebacker for his high school's football team and received All-Region recognition in his senior year, and rapping became a passion. According to Down-South.com, Steve Herndon, a former offensive lineman for the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos, played football with him in high school. He moved to Tampa, Florida, in 2007.

Career

He moved to Athens, Georgia, where he encountered industry veteran Bobby Stamps in 1996. After a University of Georgia football game, Stamps discovered him rapping and introducing him to Atlanta producer Shannon Houchins.

Houchins and Stamps collaborated on Sparxxx's first commercial CD release, Dark Days, Bright Nights, which was released in 2001. The debut album, which was also well-received in Georgia, attracted Jimmy Iovine of Interscope Records. Sparxxx joined Interscope and began collaborating with record developers Timbaland, Organized Noize, as well as continuing to work with Shannon Houchins. Dark Days, Brilliant Nights, Timbaland's Beat Club Records imprint, and which now includes five collaborations with Timbaland and two with Organized Noise, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200.

On Archie Eversole's "We Ready," he had a minor success in 2002, which was increasingly popular for being played at sporting activities, such as football and basketball tournaments. He released Deliverance, his second album, which was critically acclaimed but not well-received in late 2003.

Sparxxx signed a recording contract with Virgin Records in 2004, and Sparxxx released "Ms. New Booty" and "Heat It Up" as singles under the Virgin banner.

He left Virgin to start New South Entertainment, which is owned by E1 Records. Survive Till Ya Thrive, DJ Burn One's newest mixtape, was released in 2007.

In 2012, he signed to Backroad Records, a division of Shannon Houchins and Colt Ford's company Average Joes Entertainment, and released the single "Country Boy Coolin" which was included on Mud Digger Vol. On June 12, 2012, Average Joe's released a compilation album called "Child." In an interview, he said that he planned on releasing an album titled Miracle on Gamble Road in 2012.

Crucifix was included in the Sparxxx film "Splinter" in January 2013. Danny Boone of the band Rehab and Colt Ford, as well as Houchins, was released in July 2013. Pain Management was released on October 15, 2013.

Sparxxx became a member of Yelawolf's Slumerican records imprint in March 2016. Sparxxx's first appearance under Slumerican The Bubba Mathis EP came on October 7, 2016. Sparxxx first appeared in Rapper From The Country on September 16, 2018, which was handled by New South Entertainment.

Sparxxx released an EP, Crickets with Hosier on November 11, 2020. Sparxxx's seventh album King of Crap was released on December 4, 2020, through New South Entertainment. The single "Bird Dawg" appeared on the radio. "Bird Dawg" was released in a video in May 2021 by WORLDSTARHIPHOP.
