Career
Belo made his Big Brother house on June 15, 2007. He was praised for his apparent ignorance in relation to William Shakespeare, claiming that he had never heard of the playwright. Belo was crowned the winner of the series on August 31, 2007, with 60% of the vote to win. Belo was the youngest winner of the series until 2018.
Belo made his stage debut as the Guardian Angel in The Vegemite Tales, opposite Jonathon Dutton and Blair McDonough at The Venue off Leicester Square less than a month after leaving Big Brother. Belo made a cameo appearance at a 2007 episode of Hollyoaks; he talked about his love for the series even though he wasn't in Big Brother. He released Essex Boy, a single, in July 2008, but it didn't get to the top of the charts. Belo appeared in the TV horror film Dead Set in October 2008, both as him and as a zombie. Belo's stay in the House of Commons was marred by tense debate between him and fellow visitor Wood, mainly due to the tense debate. After an argument with Wood, he voluntarily departed on Day 23 (Day 43) after scaling out of the House.
