Bogdan Stancu Career

Club career

Stancu was discovered at a trial by coach Mihai Ianovschi in 1998, who took him to the junior team of Argeş Pitești.

Stancu was at the youth academy of FC Argeş in 2001 when his father died due to heart disease. The loss and postponement of football for a few months had left him deeply affected.

Sorin Cârţu brought him to the first team in 2005. He was sent to Dacia Mioveni in Divizia B, where he had a monthly salary of just $1000 per month and a provision in which he received $1 for every minute played for Mioveni. Stancu's team won a few games with him as their sole goalcorer. After a season in which he scored 3 goals in 12 matches, he returned to FC Argeş and made his debut in Divizia A against former champions Steaua București, a goalless draw.

Sorin Cârţu resigned from the club and Giuseppe Giannini, a former Italian footballer, was installed as the new boss of Argeş Pitești in the summer of 2006. Bogdan Stancu and Robert Neagoe, as well as another player, were released after two weeks of preparation. He appeared in only 7 appearances for his team that season. Stancu was sent to Dacia Mioveni during the pre-season but Gigi Neţoiu took him to Unirea Urziceni after a few days. The ex-kickboxer's chief of protection says he only begged him to REMOVE women from his house

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 16, 2023
Bogdan Stancu, who worked with Tate and his brother for many years, claims that he was never asked not to stop women from leaving the Romanian house. According to the veteran special forces soldier, it was actually the opposite, and on occasion he had been asked to physically remove women from the house without force, either drunk or causing trouble. In addition, Mr Stancu revealed that Tate had recently become afraid of potential threats, but that information is uncertain.
