H.E.R. She may no longer be hiding behind her signature sunglasses, but she is also very private with her personal life. The Emmy-, Grammy-, and Oscar-winning multihyphenate is a natural performer, but she isn't so forthcoming in discussing her personal dating life. H.E.R., or real name Gabi Wilson, has seldom revealed her affairs. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2016, the "Beauty and the Beast" actress, who is also starring in the forthcoming musical film version of "The Colour Purple," gave up a little more about her love life. According to H.E.R.'s website, the actor was found in the United Kingdom. "the idea" was born out of a studio when the singer was recovering from a broken heart due to a traumatic marriage, although she never named-dropped her ex. "I remember saying I'll never be that girl, and I'll never be the girl that falls for the wrong guy," she said. "I was always criticizing this girl, and eventually, I discovered myself being the person being her."
