Early life and family
Bellamy was born in Newark, New Jersey, and he was born. Bellamy is the cousin of basketball player Shaquille O'Neal.
He attended Seton Hall Preparatory School in South Orange, New Jersey, (now located in West Orange). At Rutgers University, he majored in economics.
Career
Bellamy appeared on MTV, a VJ, and as the host of several MTV shows including MTV Jamz and MTV Beach House for many years. He went on to appear in a number of films, including Fled, Love Jones, The Brothers, How to Be a Player, Getting Played, and Any Given Sunday. He has also appeared on two episodes of Kenan and Kell. In addition, he appeared on the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter.
Bellamy appeared in the Fox Network television series Fastlane in 2002 with Peter Facinelli and Tiffani Thiessen. On the late night E!, he appeared often as a "roundtable" visitor. Chelsea Lately is a talk show. Bellamy appeared on seasons 5 and 6 of NBC's Last Comic Standing reality show (2007 and 2008).
