Bart Baker Career

Career

Baker was encouraged when he posted "Look into My Eyes Even If Masturbate," about men masturbating in a future world where robots have replaced all women on Earth. Baker was encouraged to start making more videos due to this. His second film was a parody. "I figured if I could do it properly," he said, "my videos would do very well." People want to subscribe to a channel that they know has a certain programming style," he said. People adore parody videos, and mine is adored." Baker worked with his buddy Austin Smith from the channel's inception to early 2011, when the pair mutually agreed to parte ways. They were signed by RKShorts.com, who acted as their sponsor during his time with Smith. Baker began using elderly people in his videos, when he with RKShorts gained fame on YouTube. During that year's summer, parodies of "Baby" and "Love the Way You Lie" were released, and they became huge hits on his website, especially for an adolescent audience. When Baker left RKShorts in 2011, he began using these old guys.

Baker joined Maker Studios in Los Angeles and started working with them not long after they left RKShorts. Baker's parody of "Royals" by Lorde was dismissed by Matthew Pincus, CEO of Songs Music Publishing, for suspected copyright abuse in 2013. Fans of baking quickly accused Songs Music of not comprehending US laws governing fair usage and urging followers to tweet about it. Songs Music was defunct a few days later, and the parody was restored to Baker's website. Baker's total views on YouTube hit one billion on October 26, 2014. Baker signed with the Hollywood talent agency Creative Artists Agency in 2015. It was the second time Baker had signed with a major Hollywood talent agency, the first being WME, when he was one of seven people to sign contracts at the same time. Baker's YouTube channel has over 9 million followers and 3 billion views as of October 9, 2021. He has made over 100 parody videos that have featured guest stars such as Joan Rivers and Stan Lee since starting the channel in 2009. "YouTube is certainly one of the few websites that has shown it is not going somewhere," he said about YouTube. Baker would appear in a film titled FM starring internet stars Jason Nash and Brandon Calvillo on September 23, 2016.

Baker shifted his focus to China after YouTube demonetization of several YouTubers to please family-friendly advertisers on September 6, 2019. On Douyin, his job includes translating and performing Chinese songs, as well as his English covers of Chinese songs. He moved to Shanghai to continue his development as an internet content creator in China. Since Baker had migrated to the Chinese market following the radical redesign of YouTube's plans to please family-friendly advertisers, his channel has come to an end, with a number of subscribers down from 10 to 9.91 million (as of September 18,2022). Baker's first YouTube video in over three years was released on August 29, 2021. He revealed that he would be returning to the United States in September 2021, as well as occasional parodies, using cryptocurrency.
